Working principle:
SCJ-LS21 radar current meter is a non-contact current meter product. The non-contact measurement of flow velocity is based on the principle of Doppler effect. The internal integrated speed radar sensor transmits a constant frequency signal to the water surface at a specific angle. Due to the movement of the water body, the signal is reflected and changes frequency. The reflected signal is received by the antenna of the integrated speed radar sensor. By comparing the transmitted frequency and the frequency of the reflected signal from the water surface, the speed of the water flow can be determined. The integrated radar current meter points to the water surface at a specific angle, so angle correction must be performed. SCJ-LS21 uses an internal sensor to measure its vertical inclination and automatically performs angle correction.
