Working principle:
The non-contact measurement of flow velocity is based on the principle of Doppler effect. The internal integrated velocity radar sensor transmits a constant frequency signal to the water surface at a specific angle. Due to the movement of the water body, the signal is reflected and changes frequency. The reflected signal is received by the antenna of the integrated velocity radar sensor. By comparing the transmitted frequency and the frequency of the reflected signal from the water surface, the speed of the water flow can be determined. The integrated radar current meter points to the water surface at a specific angle, so angle correction must be performed. SCJ-LL21 uses an internal sensor to measure its vertical inclination and automatically performs angle correction; it uses frequency modulated continuous wave technology to measure water level; the internal integrated signal processor and proprietary flow velocity calculation algorithm can quickly and accurately calculate the water flow velocity and water level, without calibration and drift.
